Depart Greenville @ 7:30 am

Our first attraction will be THE LOWES MOTOR SPEEDWAY. As we tour the super speedway you can take a close-up look at the Winston-Cup Garage; travel down pit road; and take a photo in Victory Circle. The highlight of the tour is a comfortable ride in the motor coach around the 1.5-mile oval where you experience the full tilt action of the speedway’s 24-degree banks. Then we will have lunch (not included) before our next tour; DALE EARNHARDT INC. Built by the late 7 time Nascar Winston Cup Champion, Dale Earnhardt, this modern race shop is a vision of the future and home to three top Winston Cup teams. The showroom features several interesting displays with trophies, cars, and mementos from the lives and careers of Dale Earnhardt, Dale Earnhardt, Jr., Steve Park, and Michael Waltrip. Then we will visit NC AUTO RACING HALL OF FAME. The museum features over 35 race cars dedicated to all types of auto racing. You can re-live racing’s greatest moments in the Goodyear Mini-Theater. There is an art gallery and gift shop too. Our last visit is a stroll down MEMORY LANE - a motor sports & historical automotive museum. According to Donald Farr, editor of Super Ford magazine, “Memory Lane Museum has the largest private collection of retired Nascar and vintage race cars on display in existence.” See cars driven by NASCAR stars, past and present. We will have time included to visit the gift shops at each attraction. We will depart for home with arrival at approx. 6:30 pm
