Sit back and relax as we travel to Mt. Airy, North Carolina and the popular television town of “Mayberry”. We’ll begin discovering “Mayberry” at the Mt. Airy Visitors Center where we will view a 10 minute video, memorabilia and other displays and collections. We embark on a guided bus tour which will include: Granite Buildings, Old Mayberry Jail, Floyd’s City Barber Shop, Andy Griffith Playhouse, Andy’s Home Place and a drive through of the World’s Largest Open Faced Rock Quarry. We’ll have lunch at Andy’s favorite eating place —– “Snappy Lunch” (included). After our tour we will check into our hotel for the evening. (L)

2 “Antique Flea Market & Gun Show”

We’ll enjoy breakfast before cheching out of our hotel and traveling the short distance to Hillsville, Virginia and The World’s Largest Antique Flea Market and Gun Show. The event attracts over 500,000 visitors from all over the United States and is the largest Gun Shows and antique Flea Markets east of the Mississippi. Antique dealers, gun dealers and traders of all kinds make this one of the largest events in the southeast. Our arrival home will be early evening. (B)
